Laser Hair Removal
Removing unwanted facial or body hair is one of our most popular services for men and women of all skin tones. Dr. Frederick Fiber and our Certified Laser Specialists use the Candela Gentlelase® and Cynosure Cynergy® lasers.
Both are FDA approved for permanent hair reduction on the face, along the bikini line, on legs, back and chest hair. The process also lightens freckles, age spots and vascular lesions. For maximum comfort and safety, Albuquerque Laser Clinic uses lasers that cool the skin before each application of laser light.
Laser hair removal sessions are fast and comfortable at Albuquerque Laser Clinic. Due to the growth cycles of human hair, it generally takes a treatment period of 3 to 6 sessions to achieve the desired result. Hormonal levels also influence hair growth. As such, some clients may need additional sessions or periodic maintenance treatments.
Skin Tightening
You can have a more youthful face with minimal downtime. Our skin tightening Cynosure Cynergy laser targets the deep layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production. The procedure results in an overall firming of the skin, tightening of the jowls, and minimizing of fine lines and wrinkles. While some clients may experience some redness following a treatment, most return to their normal activities immediately.
Facial Rejuvenation
For deep facial wrinkles, severe acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation, a more intense facial rejuvenation treatment may be needed. Dr. Fiber utilizes his surgical expertise and a combination of lasers to remove epidermal layers of skin. An anesthetic is used for client comfort. Recovery time is one to two weeks.
Brown Spots, Sun Damage & Rosacea (Hyperpigmentation)
With facial skin treatment at Albuquerque Laser Center you can see a more revitalized appearance than you’ve had in years. We use a gentle Cynosure Accolade laser to treat brown spots, sun spots, pigmented lesions and overall skin texture. Our hyperpigmentation treatments are also effective for sun damage and rosacea.
Vein Treatments
The Cynosure Cynergy laser is specially suited to clients who want to eliminate spider veins on the face and legs. Generally a vein treatment period of two to three sessions is needed to achieve the desired results.
Acne Scar Removal
Laser acne scar removal at Albuquerque Laser Center helps put your best face forward. Acne scarring does not have to be an embarrassment. With our laser acne scar removal treatments, you can regain healthy, smooth skin.
Tattoo Removal
Laser tattoo removal is a growing request from our clients. The laser is able to lighten the tattoo ink in the dermal layer of the skin. Successful tattoo removal, however, depends on many factors such as the tattoo color, size, tattoo technique, and condition of the skin.
Sunbathing Alternatives
We do not recommend tanning (natural, spray-on or tanning bed) at any time for our clients. The destructive nature of the aging (UVA) and burning (UVB) rays of the sun will reverse any benefit from laser procedures. For a warm facial glow, we recommend Jane Iredale mineral bronzers and foundation powders.
For our clients who have a tan, they must stop tanning for 4 to 6 weeks prior to treatment, as well as throughout the treatment period and 4 to 6 weeks after the completion of the last treatment session.

We are happy to provide price estimates for most procedures via telephone. Procedures, pre-treatment instructions and exact costs will be clearly explained during your no-obligation consultation. The initial consultation is $30. Should you proceed with one of the above services, your $30 consultation fee will be credited toward the price of your service.
