Fade Brown Spots, Sun Damage & Rosacea at Albuquerque Laser Center

We all get them over time. Those brown spots - dark patches of skin or spots on the face, hands and chest.  It is called hyperpigmentation. It comes from sun damage, rosacea, acne scars, or other trauma to the skin.  And if you’re over thirty, and an active person you are more than likely to show signs of premature aging or photoaging.

With facial skin treatment at Albuquerque Laser Center you can see a more revitalized appearance than you’ve had in years. We use a gentle Cynosure Accolade laser to treat brown spots, sun spots, pigmented lesions and overall skin texture. Our Laser Treatments Gallery shows before and after photos for sun damage, rosacea and hyperpigmentation.

How Does It Work?

The Cynosure Accolade Laser directs a beam of light to an irregularity in the skin, such as a pigmented spot or enlarged blood vein. The laser light heats the area.

This removes the abnormality without scarring or damage, while stimulating collagen production to tighten the surrounding tissue resulting in improved skin texture and even skin tones.

The process takes less than 30 minutes and the cooling system of the Cynosure Lasers makes the process completely comfortable.  You will be back to your busy schedule with little to no redness.

Sunbathing Alternatives

We do not recommend tanning (natural, spray-on or tanning bed) at any time for our clients. The destructive nature of the aging (UVA) and burning (UVB) rays of the sun will reverse any benefit from laser procedures. For a warm facial glow, we recommend Jane Iredale mineral bronzers and foundation powders.

For our clients who have a tan, they must stop tanning for 4 to 6 weeks prior to treatment, as well as throughout the treatment period and 4 to 6 weeks after the completion of the last treatment session.
